The Jewish cemetery in Kromołów was established in the first half of the 18th century and covers an area of approx. 8.5 thousand square meters. m2. There were burials of the inhabitants of Zawiercie, Kromołów and neighboring towns.
In the cemetery there are ruins of the ohel of Israel's tzaddik Lejb Gancwajch from Kromołów. It was destroyed by the post-war actions of local scrap collectors. The cemetery area is surrounded by a wall, there is a pre-buried house and a building for the caretaker on its premises.
The cemetery is well preserved, cleaning works are underway there, and access is possible by prior arrangement.
